About SLE’s PTO
The South Lebanon Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (SLE PTO) is a charitable, nonprofit volunteer organization comprised of parents, relatives and school staff who form an important family-school partnership to enrich students’ overall educational experience.
We aim to foster a school community where our teachers and administrators can do their very best work, and so can our children. The SLE PTO is about working together toward one common goal—creating the best-possible educational experience for our children.

What we do
The SLE PTO positively impacts the students and the school every single day, and in many different ways!
We sponsor programs, projects and activities that enhance curriculum, teach students good citizenship, promote health and wellness, encourage creativity, and cultivate friendships. We also offer support to teachers in and out of the classroom, and help supply necessary resources.
The SLE PTO is proud to contribute funds each year to benefit our students, teachers and administrators. PTO fundraising efforts make this financial support possible, but equally important is the time and talent brought to our school by countless dedicated volunteers. We simply could not succeed without your involvement!
Why we need you
Nowadays schools are asked to do more with less, so our help is essential to fill the gaps. And when we get connected to the school, children do better! Research shows that children whose parents are involved get better grades, do better on tests, and have fewer discipline issues at school.
The SLE PTO is always in search of dedicated volunteers and leaders to help ensure our initiatives continue running smoothly and remain successful. Volunteering does not have to mean a huge time commitment. We have jobs to fit your particular time schedule and interests. Even an hour or two a month makes a big difference. Best of all, helping SLE and its students promises to be a fun and rewarding experience!
Lend a hand, support our kids, make a difference!
Let our children see us put their motto – “SLE Knights are Respectful, Responsible, and Problem-Solvers” – in action.
